Setting: kate is propped up in bed, danfogelberg jumps up and lays beside her.
Kate: [picks up book and begins to read]
danfogelberg: [paws at kate's leg]
Kate: okay seriously, i’m trying to read!
danfogelberg: (with his eyes) no you’re not! [pounces on kate's stomach and starts making biscuits on her]
Kate: okay fine you can sleep on me, but I’m still reading
danfogelberg: [pauses biscuit making to put paw on book and push gently]

*Giggles* Now that’s a scene we’ve practiced many, many times and in many different attempted scenarios. My youngest sister got DDR for Christmas (and they’re keeping my cat for me)….and my kitty immediately decided she wanted to sit right in the middle. Period. No negotiations possible. Kitty wins.
